Hmmm...

Well... needless to say, I've not been here in a while.  I had fully intended on blogging Christmas Day to tell you about the footsteps coming down the stairs, and the soft voices that were coming from the living room.  I also had every intention in relaying the very sweet and innocent voice of my youngest, Nicholas, as he came into my room on Christmas morning, loudly whispering that Santa Clause had come, and it was time for us to get up, so he could open his presents.  It was 6 am!!

I had every intention of blogging about our trips to Princeton and Bluefield... seeing family and friends was definitely worth blogging about, and the highlight of our trip.  I was going to blog about our trip to Kentucky to see Chris's family... there was never a dull moment!!

I had every intention in posting photos of before-mentioned family and friends, as well.  Only, I'm still not sure how to get those photos off of the camera and onto the computer.  That is where Sydney, and all of her technical expertise, will come in handy.

I ALSO, had every intention of blogging about my feelings in regards to the Inoguration of President Obama... That was a pretty emotional day for me, and will get to that at another time.

Now... for you reading pleasure... some random things about me:

I have to tell you... I'm addicted to FaceBook!!  I can't help it.  It's where all of the friends from yesteryear tend to hang out, and where friendships have been rekindled.  I cannot get enough! I've tried to purpose to only check 'the Book' once in the morning and once, again in the afternoon... I've not had much luck with that.  I think I need to start FBAA... FaceBook Addictions Anonymous.  I think I'd have a lot of members, as everyone I speak to has the same darn addiction :)

One of my favorite things to do on FaceBook is to read all of the '25 Random Things About Me' that my friends are posting.  It's amazing what you can learn about people when they share these things.  And, I have to say... some of my friends are VERY funny!!  Since posting my 25 things, I have thought of a few more that are worth mentioning... or not.  So, here it goes:

1.  Two years ago I fell through my ceiling and broke my back and achilles tendon.  Back braces, wheelchairs, walkers, casts... NOT FUN!!!

2.  I love to weed the yard... it's like therapy.  Only, it must be an addiction, too, because I find myself doing it at the neighborhood park, as well.

3.  I love to get pedicures!!  Soft feet are great, and painted toenails aren't too bad, either.

4.  I love to cook.  I like to plan the meals, and stick to the plan... but, I AM flexible!

5.  I look forward to Chris coming home from work ALMOST every day... I say 'almost' because we all know that to say 'every' would be a lie... It's not a bad thing.

6.  If I never wore another coat in my life, I'd be happy:)  I love the summer, and think it should be warm year round.

7.  I miss my extended family every day.  

8.  I love playing hidden object games on the computer... Again, you know you're addicted when you dream about them.  LOL

9.  I hate that I've been lazy about going to church lately.  

10.  When I grow up, I want to be the best Mom I can be!! 

Well, my friends... I've only got 10 random things about me today... I'm sure I will come up with more on another day.  Sorry for the bland blog, but I'm bored, and I felt like blogging:)
