... And so it Goes.

This week is a short week. Spring break begins Friday, and I cannot wait! We (the kidlets and I) are headed to see Mom and Brittnee and Bryce in Princeton. It can't get here soon enough for me! If I could leave today, I would.

Amidst all of the prep work to be able to leave, I've been sick... so has Chris. This does not make for a good time, but we are praying that the funk will be gone soon. I already feel much better than I did yesterday. Maybe that will make for a productive day;)

School (for Nic) will consist of review and educational games. Yesterday, I spent a lot of time in bed so that's where we 'did our work'. We've played time bingo, Uno, and Farkle. We've worked tangrams... that's one of Nic's favorites! We played hangman to review spelling, and will create a spelling notebook today. I meant to have him do that earlier in the year, but kept forgetting. What better time to create one than on a review week?!?! I tried to read a book to him yesterday... that didn't really work out. My voice was less than cooperative. Nic finally said, 'Mom... why don't we do something else until your throat feels better.' Such a sweet boy. He learned compassion yesterday... not too shabby, huh? Home schooling isn't just about the academics... 'nough said.

I'm going to have Nic write a letter to grandma. She will get it while we are there... I know this. I just think it will be fun;)

We've got a fairly busy day today, as it's not just about the schooling when you have multiple kidlets. One went to school with a hole in her pants... she was unaware of this until I got home from taking her to school. So, I grabbed a new pair of jeans and ran back out to the school. The other got to school and realized that he had not checked the lunch menu, and called saying that he needs me to bring him a lunch... I will happily oblige. This afternoon will consist of hair appointments, homework, laundry, packing, grocery shopping (short list), and video making.

Such is the life of a Mama... with multiple kidlets...

I wouldn't have it any other way!
