In November of last year, Nic and I headed east to see my Mom, and help her prepare for brain surgery that was to be performed in December. THIS is the pic I took of my precious kidets, just prior to leaving, to be used as our Christmas card. I was certain that I would have them printed, and mail them from West Virginia. (*That didn't work out as I had planned.) Aren't they a good lookin' bunch!
Also, before we left, Max turned thirteen. THIS was his favorite gift. (I would have posted a pic of his handsome face, but he said he didn't like any of them... so, here are his feet.) ;)
Benji needed attention as Max opened his gifts. I gave him a lil.
Nic and I left the Monday after Thanksgiving. We stopped in Tennessee (in a blizzard... geez), and yes, I let him 'surf on the bed'. I'm a good Mom that way. haha
No photos were taken from the above shot until Christmas Eve... when Mom got to come home after surgery. The pics I have of her have her incision in them, so I will post one of the most adorable people I know... my nephew, Bryce. I wish he lived closer. He loves me.
A week after Christmas, I met my family in Kentucky, and we drove home a couple of days after that. THEN... National Cheer Competition in Dallas. Not many pics were taken there either. At this point, I much preferred sitting and taking it all in. I'm so very proud of these girls... and boy :) They worked so hard, and did their absolute best. GREAT JOB BIXBY SPARTAN CHEERLEADERS.
The end of January 2012, we saw Sydney dress up for Winter Ball. She looked stunning... new picture post in a bit.
Thanks for bearing with me as I play a little catch-up. I've been meaning to do this for a while.
